Wet Room Style Floor

Walk in Shower | Level Access Showering - No Threshold

Similar and synonymous with a wet room, therefore suitable for wheelchairs and walking frames, the level-accessed shower is suitable for users with all mobility levels. The wet-room style flooring covers the existing floor, and the showering area offers itself to be finished with a glass screen or, for even less restriction, a fold-away shower curtain.

As with the low-level, the level-accessed shower tray can be installed in bathrooms on every storey and is suitable for timber and concrete floors. Because the shower tray is installed flush with the existing flooring, extra labour may be involved to gain the extra depth, but this is not always the case. Additional work may also be required to achieve the gradient to have an adequate fall for a gravity wastewater pipe.

Stylish and practicable, the no threshold easy access shower, bathroom adaption has a safety non-slip wet room style flooring, optional showering seat and handrails that come in a range of styles and colours.

All our walk-in shower adaptions are suitable for Winchester's elderly and disabled, providing users with restricted mobility a functional and safe aesthetically appealing modern bathroom for all the family.

This installation comes with the option of an easy-clean, nanotechnology luxury shower screen. If extra mobility and support are required, we’ll install a modern classic white care shower screen or a full-access shower curtain.

A shower room installation that facilitates safe bathing for many restricting disabilities.

Anti-Slip Flooring

Easy Access Showering - Low Threshold

The low-level walk-in shower is similar to a regular shower cubicle. The tray is visible and will require the user to step into and onto the showering area. A low-level shower tray takes more of the floor area and is much lower than a regular shower cubicle. Measurements are typically a shower tray that covers the floor area similar to where the bath is occupied and a step that is usually lower than 100mm or 4 inches.

To aid and help the user bathing, it's typical to install a low-level, walk-in shower room with a fixed screen. The advice of many Occupational Therapists that the movement of shower cubicle doors with their seals and magnetic catches is often more of a hindrance than helping the user.

Our easy-access shower room adaptions have helped many of Winchester residents bathe safely again. The low-level, walk-in shower room can be installed in both upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and are suitable for concrete or timber floors. The increased height can offer a gravity waste-water system, reducing the cost maintenance issue for the end-user.

The low threshold easy access shower, bathroom adaption is a perfect replacement for your existing bath. It offers the lowest level of disruption and is our quickest adaption to install: the result, a specially designed, high-quality solid showering area which features a safety anti-slip finish.

All our shower adaptions come with an option for a showering seat and handrails that come in a range of styles and colours. Your low threshold, walk-in shower installation comes with an easy-clean nanotechnology luxury shower or modern classic white care screen.
